What is the difference between an “open” and “not submitted” claim status?

Once you’ve completed reporting your claim in the portal, it will have an “open” status and be ready for review by an adjuster.

If you've started your claim, but are yet to submit it, your claim status will show as "not submitted". You can add additional information and complete a claim that is “not submitted” at a later time by accessing the claim through your dashboard.
