If I choose to receive the COVID-19 vaccine at my trip destination, will the costs of the vaccination and/or any complications arising from it be covered?
Coverage is not available for expenses related to a vaccination as it’s not being provided as a result of a medical emergency. However, emergency medical coverage is available for an adverse reaction to the COVID-19 vaccination received abroad.
