A Claims Adjuster is a representative of the insurance company. An Adjuster:

  • coordinates an appraisal
  • gathers the facts
  • reports the details of a claim to the insurer
  • recommends whether a claim is covered under the policy
  • negotiates with the policyholder on behalf of the insurance company.
