Customer Help & Support
What happens if my vehicle is damaged in an accident, but I don't have Collision coverage?
If you were at fault in the accident, you will be personally responsible for the damage to your vehicle.
In Newfoundland Labrador, Prince Edward Island, Alberta, Yukon and Northwest Territories, if another driver was at fault, you can claim payment from that driver. In Ontario, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick you can claim from your own insurer, as long as you weren't at fault.
Customers can review their coverages, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, via our online self-service tool – click here to get started. Access View Policy Details and find out if you have this coverage by looking for Collision.
